The Pikes Peak Diversity Council is proud to champion spaces where history, creativity, and community intersect. That is why we are incredibly excited to invite you to a historic collaborative event happening right here in Colorado Springs: the Everybody Welcome™ & What IF... Festival of Innovation & Imagination!

Everybody Welcome™ is a free, family-friendly cultural festival celebrating the diversity of the Pikes Peak region. This year, the event holds an even deeper significance as it connects our local culture and history to the national milestone of America 250 and our state's own Colorado 150 milestone.

The inspiring theme for 2026 is “History Speaks, Future Listens.”

Event Details 🗓️

  • When: Saturday, August 1st, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Where: Colorado College, Armstrong Hall (14 E. Cache La Poudre St., Colorado Springs, CO 80903)

  • Admission: Entirely free and open to all families!

Honoring Local Legends & Inspiring Tomorrow✨

The very name “Everybody Welcome” carries profound local history, it honors the iconic welcoming motto of Fannie Mae Duncan’s legendary Cotton Club, which stood as a beacon of inclusivity in downtown Colorado Springs.

This year's festival beautifully bridges that legacy with the future. By bringing together an incredible lineup of local community partners—including the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Legacy Preservation Society and the Imagination Celebration—we are creating a space where our region's diverse history can speak directly to the next generation of innovators.

While exploring our rich local heritage, families can dive into hands-on tech, robotics, and creative showcases hosted by the What IF... Festival of Innovation & Imagination, challenging minds of all ages to dream up what comes next.

Join the Celebration as a Vendor or Sponsor! 🎪

Are you a local maker, food truck owner, corporate sponsor, or community organization looking to share your passion with the city? We want you there! Vendor spaces are filling up fast, and we are looking for a diverse mix of creators and partners to make this day unforgettable.

  • Application Deadline: Wednesday, July 15th, 2026

  • For Booth Applications, Sponsorships, & General Information:

This massive community collaboration is made possible through the generous support of Colorado College, the El Pomar Foundation, and our incredible local partners.

We can't wait to see you at Armstrong Hall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on August 1st! Let’s honor our past, engage with our present, and listen to the future—together.
