The Pikes Peak Diversity Council loves to highlight incredible community partners who use cultural heritage and dedication to uplift local youth. Today, we are proud to share a special event hosted by Ballet Folklórico de la Raza—an organization that has spent over 30 years preserving the beauty of Mexican folkloric dance in Colorado.

Their dancers have performed across the state and even proudly represented Colorado at the 57th Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington, D.C. This year, they are hosting an exciting community event to give back in a massive way, and they need your support!

The Mission: Supporting Youth in Foster Care 🏍️

This year’s event is raising crucial funds to provide dance scholarships for youth connected to Hope & Home Foster Care Colorado. Through dance, mentorship, and a welcoming community, these scholarships will provide children who have experienced abuse or neglect with a vital sense of belonging, identity, and hope.

Showcase Your Ride: Car clubs and motorcycle groups are formally invited to participate, cruise, and showcase their vehicles.
Donate Raffle Items or Funds: Local businesses can contribute monetary donations or items for the event's raffle. Checks can be made payable to Ballet Folklórico de la Raza and mailed to 251 Ellers Grove, Colorado Springs, CO 80916.
Attend and Support: Bring your family out on July 18th to enjoy the vehicles, connect with neighbors, and support an incredible cause.
